Digital Connectivity

Digital connectivity is core to FarrPoint’s business, and all our services are built around the use and expansion of connections between people, places and things.

We provide independent advice to governments, local authorities, and the telecoms industry, and are highly experienced delivering national, urban and even the most rural and remote connectivity projects. Improving connectivity is a constant and ever-growing requirement.

The challenges

Delivering digital connectivity to residents and business es wherever they may be is recognised as essential for business and social growth and wellbeing. Provision of capable infrastructure to support new and more integrated services often involves a mix of commercial provision and market interventions. When government bodies intervene to work with providers to address gaps in connectivity provision, they enter a complex regulatory and procurement environment with a minefield of potential traps for the unwary.

Unique investment models need to be developed, suppliers need to be engaged, resources need to be in place, legal, financial and technical advice needs to be onboard to support what can be significant investments.

Our services

From the start FarrPoint has been providing advice on design and planning for government interventions in the connectivity market, from national to local, urban cities to the most remote and rural. Our independent advisors work closely across a number of key areas; strategic, economic, commercial, financial, management and legal.
