You will be an Network Architect or Consultant, with experience in large scale delivery projects. This role will provide architectural leadership for a significant infrastructure transition in the retail sector and includes assurance of WAN, LAN, Data Centres, Compute, Storage, Security and Cloud. Included is the critical evaluation of the delivery performance of suppliers who will be responsible for delivering various components under outsourced agreements.
You will be a key member of the transition project team analysing complex/new situations, plans , and designs, anticipating potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts and risks. You will be required to communicate with key supplier contacts and conclude negotiations resulting in common agreements. You are expected to be innovative, flexible and able to deal with a range of project stakeholders ranging from Chief Technology Officer to Field technicians
This is a flexible role and you could be based anywhere in the UK.
